US Chinese Women was founded on July 1, 1994 and comprises of outstanding Chinese women from all walks of life in the United States. The Purpose of US Chinese Women is to safeguard the rights and interests of Chinese women in the United States, to unite and help each other, to build a harmonious friendship, to enhance the elegant image of Chinese women in the United States, to promote mutual understanding and communication between the people of China and the United States, to promote the peace and friendship between the people of China and the United States; promote the traditional culture of the Chinese nation, actively carry out and promote community development, integration into mainstream society, China-US economic cooperation, and activities beneficial to social welfare.

美国华人妇女联合会创立于１９９４年７月１日，由在美国各界优秀华人妇女精英组成。美国华人妇女联合会宗旨：维护在美华人妇女的权益，团结互助，和谐友谊，提升在美华人妇女的优雅形象，促进中美两国人民之间的互相了解，沟通，增进中美两国人民的和平友谊；弘扬中华民族传统文化，积极开展和推动有益于社区建设发展、有益于融入主流社会、有益于中美两国经济合作往来。有益于社会公益事业的各项活动。
